Terms of Service
Last updated May 20, 2026
By making a reservation, purchasing a session, or visiting our venue, you agree to these Terms. Read them in full — they cover bookings, safety, conduct, and the limits of our liability.
Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Swing ATL · Fling ATL (“Swing ATL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of the entertainment venue located at 8480 Senoia Road, Fairburn, Georgia 30213. By visiting our venue, purchasing a session, booking a lane, hosting a party, or using swingatl.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Bookings & reservations
Mini golf is walk-up only — no reservation is required, and tee times are first-come, first-served during posted hours. Axe throwing lanes and private events are sold by the hour and require a reservation. A reservation is only confirmed once payment (or a deposit, depending on the package) has been successfully processed.
All bookings are tied to the name and contact information provided at checkout. The lead guest is responsible for the conduct of the entire party and for ensuring every participant has signed a waiver before stepping onto an axe lane.
Cancellations & rescheduling
Cancellations made 24 or more hours before the reservation are eligible for a full refund or one free reschedule. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance forfeit the deposit and any prepaid session fees. Party packages have a separate, longer cancellation window — see our Refund Policy for the specifics.
To cancel or reschedule, contact us at [email protected] or 770-703-4655 with your booking name and time.
No-shows
A reservation is considered a no-show if no member of the party has checked in within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time. The lane will be released and the session forfeited; no refund will be issued.
Weather & interruptions
Both mini golf and axe throwing operate on partially open-air decks. Sessions interrupted by lightning, severe storms, or other unsafe weather conditions may be paused or relocated at staff discretion. If a session cannot be completed because of weather, you will be offered either a free reschedule or a credit toward a future booking. Pre-paid deposits remain valid for 90 days.
Mini golf rules
Mini golf is family-friendly and open to all ages. To keep play moving and safe:
- One player at a time on the green; others stand behind the tee box.
- Maximum of six strokes per hole. After the sixth stroke, pick up your ball, record a six, and move on.
- Putters and balls remain on the course — do not lift putters above the waist or swing them outside the act of putting.
- No climbing on rocks, water features, or course decor.
- Outside food and drink are not permitted on the course.
- Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Axe throwing safety rules
Axe throwing is conducted under coach supervision in fenced lanes. The following rules are non-negotiable; staff may remove any participant who violates them, without refund:
- Only the designated thrower stands at the throw line; other participants stay behind the line until the coach signals it is safe to retrieve.
- Throwers must remain on their own side of the lane divider at all times.
- No throwing while another person is forward of the line, retrieving an axe, or otherwise in the lane.
- Axes are carried by the handle, head-down, and never tossed, swung casually, or pointed at another person.
- Closed-toe shoes are required (see Section 12). Open-toe footwear is not allowed in the lane area.
- No throwing under the influence of alcohol or any impairing substance (see Section 11).
- Children under the age of 10 may not throw; participants aged 10–17 require a parent or legal guardian on-site who has co-signed the waiver.
- Follow all instructions from coaching staff.
Assumption of risk
You acknowledge that miniature golf, axe throwing, and similar recreational activities carry inherent risks of physical injury, including but not limited to lacerations, fractures, sprains, eye injuries, head injuries, and in rare cases more serious harm or death. You voluntarily assume these risks, both known and unknown, when you choose to participate, and you accept full responsibility for your decision to participate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, Swing ATL, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your visit, your use of the Site, or these Terms — including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business — regardless of the legal theory and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to your use of our venue or the Site is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms purports to limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Prohibited conduct
The following conduct is grounds for immediate removal from the premises without refund:
- Violence, threats, harassment, or discriminatory behavior toward staff or other guests.
- Damaging course features, lane equipment, axes, or any other property.
- Bringing weapons (other than axes provided in the Fling ATL lanes) onto the premises.
- Possession or use of illegal drugs.
- Bringing outside alcohol that violates our BYOB policy or that is not properly handled (see Section 11).
- Smoking, vaping, or using cannabis products outside of designated areas.
- Allowing children to use axe lanes unsupervised or in violation of Section 7.
Intoxication & alcohol policy
Swing ATL operates as a BYOB venue for guests aged 21 and over. Valid government-issued photo ID is required to bring or consume alcohol. Staff may refuse service of axe lane sessions to any person they reasonably believe to be impaired by alcohol or any other substance, and may end an already-active session if intoxication develops or becomes apparent during play. No refund will be issued in either case. We reserve the right to confiscate alcohol from any guest under 21 and to refuse entry to anyone visibly intoxicated upon arrival.
Closed-toe shoe requirement
Closed-toe shoes are required at all times in the axe throwing lanes and the immediate retrieval area. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toe shoes, and bare feet are not permitted. Mini golf does not require closed-toe shoes, but we strongly recommend them for traction on wet turf.
